Terms of Service

additive.tools is operated by Yunus Emre Muhaddisoğlu, an individual trader registered in Turkey ("Operator", "we", "us").

additive.tools is an engineering reference platform providing calculators, material property data, process documentation, industry directories, research literature, and educational articles related to additive manufacturing ("the Service").

The Service is for informational and reference purposes only. Nothing on additive.tools constitutes professional engineering advice. All calculations, property values, and recommendations must be verified against primary sources and validated by a qualified engineer before use in any design, manufacturing, or qualification decision.

To access most features you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• Keep your password confidential and not share your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@additive.tools of any unauthorised use.
• Be at least 16 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your country).

We offer two membership tiers: a base Member tier (included at no charge) and a paid Pro tier that unlocks additional calculators and features. Current pricing is displayed on the Pricing page.

Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and tax compliance. By subscribing to a paid plan you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Service using automated means.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or resell any part of the Service without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

All content on additive.tools — including calculators, written articles, database entries, and design — is the property of the Operator or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright law. Source references cited in the platform remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

You may use individual outputs of calculators (results, formulas) for your own engineering work. You may not republish, mirror, or commercialise any part of the platform content without prior written consent.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Material property data is sourced from published datasheets and literature; real-world properties vary by machine, powder batch, build parameters, and post-processing. Always validate against your own test data.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of İzmir, Turkey, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or by a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
